Individual

Connect with your inner self, and learn how to explore your current way of functioning and then learn how to modify. Unlearning negative models of behavior, and undoing maladaptive defense mechanisms that may be impacting day to day functioning and intimate relationships.

High Conflict Divorce/Coparenting Counseling

Guiding parents when dissolution becomes necessary and new homes need to be created, on how to navigate in the best interest of the children.  Learning how to create a new coparenting relationship where the children are given the gift of unconditionally loving both parents without interference.  Close coordination if necessary with parent's attorneys, children's attorneys and guardians at litem.

Couples

Through the use of Gottmans Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy models help partners that are motivated and committed to recreate a healthier relationship.  Explore new ways to create connection and allow for vulnerability.

EMDR

Trauma based work through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.  Memories of traumatic and stressful events can sometimes be stored maladaptively in the brain and become attached to images, negative thoughts, and body sensations.  Through EMDR we can attempt to reprocess these experiences by moving the memories through different networks in the brain so we can ultimately access the pre frontal lobe where we can engage in executive functioning and process the memory differently. EMDR Certified.
